Laminate Flooring Products and Installation
Laminate flooring is a multi-layer synthetic and natural flooring product fused together with a lamination process. Laminate flooring simulates wood (or sometimes stone) with a photographic applique layer under a clear very durable protective layer. The inner core layer is usually composed of melamine resin and fiber board materials.
Laminate flooring has grown significantly in popularity, perhaps because it is less expensive to install. It is also easier to maintain and less volatile when exposed to moisture. It is extremely durable when compared to hardwood floors when it comes to denting and scratching and these days with the new and improved printing methods you not only get realistic patterns but also different texturing options.
